Japanese-style suspension light. Made from curved plywood, it features a sisal lampshade and a plexiglass diffuser. Manufactured in the 1960s by the Swiss company Temde, known for its use of natural materials and shapes in its lamps. The structure consists of plywood pieces held together by wooden wedges. The lampshade has been restored with 85 metres of new sisal cord. A small repair has been made to the structure, and a defect has been noted on the plexiglass diffuser. The original lifting and lowering mechanism still functions correctly and is original. The cable is also original.
