A true manifesto of experimental design, the AEO chair was designed by Paolo Deganello (founding member of the radical group Archizoom) for the Italian publisher Cassina in 1973. This model is a pure masterpiece of engineering and style, combining a base made of technical plastic (Durethan), a cream tubular steel structure, and a suspended fabric backrest that offers exceptional comfort. Authenticity: "AEO" stamp from the publisher Cassina engraved under the foot. Condition: Very good vintage condition. There is a slight patina consistent with age and use, which attests to its authentic character. The textile (terracotta red/light beige) retains a beautiful shape, it is in excellent condition / extremely rare given the year of publication: almost new, with no stains or tears. Dimensions: Height 107 cm / Width 79 cm / Depth 75 cm. The little extra: Fully dismountable, this chair is a pioneer of high-end "flat-pack" furniture. An iconic piece for collectors or enthusiasts of radical Italian design.
