French school (monogrammed PB) Portrait of a woman with a bun, dressed in the New Look. 1956. Plaster bas-relief, black-green patina. 39 X 36 cm. Monogrammed and dated: P.B. / VI 56. Portrait of a woman by a leading sculptor, bearing the initials PB. The irregularity of the four sides and the cut of the right side, which highlights the bun and collar, are particularly effective. The relief is quite deep. The model wears a characteristic mid-high collar of the New Look.
