Magazine holder signed Peerage in brass year 1930

Peerage magazine rack signed on the bottom "peerage - made in England", vintage circa 1930, in brass & hammered metal, interior lined with orange linen fabric. An arched tubular brass handle. Decorated with heraldry in relief, coat of arms, knight with a shield, a cross between two owls and acanthus foliage. The edges are outlined with a stylized heart motif and trimmed with a rope-patterned band. The rest of the surface has a hammered finish. This vintage peerage newspaper rack is in very good condition and with an aged patina. Minor age-related marks. I never removed the patina because I preferred it that way and removing its patina is like taking away its long history, for me the patina is part of its history and its charm. I let the future owner decide for themselves if they want to keep the patina or if they prefer to have the object polished. It measures 44cm wide, 37cm high and 15.5cm deep. Its weight is 3543 grams (3.54 kg).
