1960's brass magazine rack

Magazine rack with two compartments, beautiful rounded tubular handle. All textured brass on the outside (worked in hammered, embossed), with an old chest-style grid pattern in leather & metal; brown lacquered metal on the inside. By the English manufacturer peerage, in birmingham (production of copper and brass articles), which became peerage brass after the second world war; this brand disappeared in 1991. Magazine rack 1960' Very good quality & good condition, brass a little pitted on one side (see photos!).
