Bayer 1976 white ceramic lamp base

Large and elegant white ceramic lamp base by Bayer Brussels. It is dated exactly 13/10/1976. It is sometimes complicated to date a ceramic but not in this case: The ceramist Bayer (Brussels) had several ways of marking his ceramics depending on the era; either he marked them with his name "Bayer", or "Bayer Brussels", or there was no marking at all, or only the date, which is the case here. To my knowledge, he is the only one who printed the exact production date of his ceramics. In excellent condition. The cable / switch system has been replaced. E27 socket for any standard or LED bulb. Height 38 cm -- base diameter -- 14 cm.
