Beautiful pair of Louis XV style lamp bases, by the French bronzier: Lucien GAU. Manufacturer of the Faubourg Saint Antoine, in Paris. Manufactured in the second half of the 20th century. Manufactured in bronze. Original gilding and patina, very good condition; note, on the back of a lamp base, a small oxidation stain (see penultimate photo). The lamp bases are decorated with shells, ribbons and acanthus leaves. Sockets and switches installed and tested; new E14 sockets; original wires a little worn in places but perfectly functional (see photo). Cardboard candles, perfect condition. They are stamped under the foot: LG (see last photo). Careful packaging provided by Colissimo Registered to your home.
