Poul Henningsen PH 4½-4 Glass Suspension Light by Louis Poulsen

This PH 4½-4 glass pendant, rare and sought after, designed by Poul Henningsen and produced by Louis Poulsen, is in excellent vintage condition. Poul Henningsen developed the three-shade system between 1925 and 1926, aiming to create glare-free lighting with soft shadows and optimal light diffusion. This particular model features an upper shade of approximately 45 cm, making it the largest pendant in this series. Its design is based on the logarithmic spiral, ensuring uniform light diffusion and reduced glare. This piece comes from Denmark and dates from the 1960s. Dimensions: diameter 45 cm, height 41 cm.
