Mid century retro vintage teak sideboard 1960

Mid century vintage retro teak danish style sideboard 1960. Beautiful coloured teak sideboard. This piece was produced in the middle of the last century. A stylish and extremely well made vintage sideboard in teak, this was designed by neil morris and was made by morris of glasgow in the 1960’s. The credenza, or sideboard has the quality hand craftsmanship expected by this quality producer. Fantastic grained teak with organically formed handles. With its minimal though straight lines you can see the scandinavian influence. With a drinks flap on the left it is super for your home entertainment, followed by three waterfall drawers and a cabinet. All in all this piece is top quality and fantastic afdition to every home. The firm of h morris & co ltd was established in around 1885.by the early 1920s it had acquired premises at milton street, glasgow. The firm manufactured furniture and, in the early days, cinema seats. It was also responsible for fitting out the luxury liners, the queen mary, queen elizabeth and queen elizabeth II. In a good used vintage condition eith some minor signs of use. W 198cm X d 46cm X h 72cm.
