Set of 8 ramekins with lids made of Japanese stoneware.

Splendid and very complete set of 8 ramekins with lids (small individual soup tureens, broth bowls, or mini oval casseroles), made in Japan during the modernist period (circa 1970). This Japandi-style table set is crafted from high-quality heavy thermo-resistant stoneware. Each piece is distinguished by its elegant oval shape covered with a glossy two-tone glaze, combining a finely crackled cream background with wide chocolate brown stripes applied randomly on the neck, lid knobs, and the two small handling ears. The base of each ramekin features its official original stamp "JAPAN" incised or molded under the glaze. A complete set of great sobriety, ideal for adding a warm and retro touch.
