Very beautiful flat desk in mahogany in the Louis XVI style, of high-quality craftsmanship, featuring three front drawers and resting on four tapered legs ending in gilded brass sabots. The top is bordered by a brass gallery and adorned with a gold-tooled leather surface, in excellent condition, which adds a classic charm and timeless elegance to the whole. The desk also has two side pull-outs covered in the same gold leather, providing a very generous workspace. The ornamentation is rich: lock entries, handles, drawer frames, and side panels are in gilded bronze. The whole reflects meticulous craftsmanship and fine furniture from the early 20th century.
