Mario Botta Pair of Quinta Chairs for Alias Italy 1986

Pair of Quinta chairs, designed by the Swiss architect and designer Mario Botta in 1986 for Alias Italy. In the 1980s he designed a range of chairs for this Italian company. These designs all have a strong sense of geometry being based on simple shapes. These Quinta chairs have a thin black tubular steel structure and a black folded perforated sheet metal seat and backrest. The chairs are in very good original condition. Only little loss of lacquer on the armrests, caused by regularly touching the table, as visible in the photo.
