Plateau Villeroy and Boch Dresden Art Nouveau

This serving tray in earthenware and silver metal is signed villeroy and boch dresden. The brown mark it bears represents mercury (merkur): this tray dates from 1909 at the latest. Its motifs are characteristic of art nouveau. It is in a state of use that I invite you to appreciate by zooming in on the photos provided (stitched metal, two hairs and some brownish spots on the earthenware). This rare piece is very elegant despite the traces left by time.
