"Winged Victory of Samothrace", beige plaster statuette

Statuette from the casting workshops of the Louvre Museum in molded plaster and painted in beige color representing the famous statue “Victory of Samothrace” representing the goddess Nike - “Victory” in Greek - without head and without arms. This statuette is composed of three parts which are easily assembled using metal threads. One wing is then separated from the body to facilitate its transport as well as the rear part of the drapery which flies away. Originally, the two wings are removable, however for the sake of solidity, we fixed one of the two wings. In very good general condition, we also restored a plaster chip on the terrace and repainted it; it is now like new! Ideal on a stand, on a piece of furniture or a shelf, this statuette will find its place in any type of interior and will bring a classic and arty touch to your decoration.
