Pair of armchairs type 53, designed by J. Šmidek for TON, Czechoslovakia, 1960's. The distinguishing element of this model are large bent armrests, characteristic of products manufactured by TON. Seats have been reupholstered in beige and orange soft fabric. Solid wood legs have been restored and refinished.
