High Mid-Century Modern Armchair in Beech and Brown Leather by Farstrup Møbler, Denmark, 1970s

This high armchair was manufactured by the Danish company Farstrup Møbler in the 1970s. The frame is made of solid beech wood in a dark chocolate shade. The seat and back cushion are covered in high-quality dark brown natural leather. It is secured using the holes in the backrest. The shape of the armchair is light and very comfortable. The contoured shape of the armrests enhances usability comfort. The modernist design of the furniture means it can be the focal point of many arrangements. The brand's history dates back to 1910. Initially, Farstrup was a sawmill near the beautiful forests of Langesø. The company's mission is to create and build, often to order, high-quality furniture that enhances quality of life.
