Rare table lamp from the Italian manufacturer Ecolight/Valenti based on a design by Gaetano Sciolari from the 1960s. An elegant table lamp with a lacquered metal base, an opaline glass diffuser, and an outer plastic shade. When lit, the internal glass shade subtly contrasts with the outer shade through different brightness and lighting effects. The base consists of two trumpet-shaped elements, separated in the centre by a joint. At the bottom, the base is highlighted against the floor by a chrome-coloured plate with an overhang.
