Hadrill & Hortsmann Counterbalance Floor Lamp

Stunning example of the iconic counterbalance 'roller' lamp, ingeniously designed by hadrill & horstmann. C.1940. Often utilised by draughtsman, this example was found in a private workshop and has survived in wonderful original condition; the elegant weighted system allows the lamp to angled in any position with a fluid motion. Stands on heavy duty steel base with three castors. Cable tidies on lamp stem. Rewired with 2m of black twisted flex and bs 3-pin plug.
