Original modernist office cabinet (model SK 19) produced in the 1930s by the Robert Slezák factories in Czechoslovakia. A refined example of Bauhaus-era furniture, featuring beautifully symmetrical wood veneer grain and characteristic chromed structural elements. The cabinet is preserved in original, very good condition, without restoration. It shows only minor, natural signs of age, consistent with its period. All elements are original and fully functional, including: original glass panels, original locks and keys, chromed legs and details with typical, honest patina preserved, original metal manufacturer’s label by Slezák. On the right side, the cabinet features a drop-front secretary compartment, equipped with original vertical internal dividers, intended for writing and document storage. The tall left section (wardrobe) retains its original pull-out hanging rail for clothes. A highly functional and visually balanced piece, combining storage and workspace, and representing high-quality Central European modernism of the interwar period.
