Silver-plated palm lamp, 1910, Thomas Bradbury & Sons

An antique silver-plated centrepiece signed Thomas Bradbury & Sons, Sheffield, 1910, transformed into a lamp: an exotic charm palm tree in silverware, straddling the English Belle Époque and the decor of a collector's home. Number 3046, very similar to a pair that went through Sotheby’s, retains all its decorative strength with its finely veined palms and spectacular rocaille base. Some signs of use, functional electrification (see photos), generally in good condition. A true love at first sight.
