Vintage tripod stool – Twisted legs – Renovated. Twisted bobbin legs. Vintage shepherd's stool in waxed wood with linseed oil. Ideal as extra seating, a side table, a plant stand, or a decorative element in rustic or bohemian style. It stands out with its three beautiful twisted legs (or "bobbin-shaped"), giving it a lot of character. The seat has an original semi-circular shape. Restoration work carried out: This stool has been completely refurbished: Disassembled and re-glued to ensure perfect stability. Preventively treated against wood-boring insects (woodworm), as it had some old marks (now healthy). Nourished and protected with several layers of linseed oil, giving it a beautiful warm patina and a natural matte finish. Condition of the seat: Originally, the seat was covered with fabric and upholstery nails. I chose to remove everything to leave the wood exposed. Therefore, the small historical marks left by the old nails are visible around the edge of the seat (as seen in the photos). This is part of its history and authentic charm. Aside from these marks, it is in very good usable condition, sturdy and ready for use. Dimensions: Seat (semi-circular shape): 27 cm wide X 21 cm deep.
