Magnificent Chinese wedding chest in carved wood (teak camphor?). Rather late 19th century, early 20th century. (see my other chest) The interior has been modernised with a sliding compass to allow it to be left open. Unfortunately, some interior boards have broken. We have kept them to try to repair (without guarantee). There are scratches but they are easy to restore by applying varnish.
