Dessert service "Barbotine" in ceramic with a fruit design typical of Art Nouveau. Produced by the historic factory of Sarreguemines in France. Weight: 850g. 8 dessert plates with a diameter of 19 cm and a height of 2.2 cm. Weight: approximately 335g per plate. Estimated production period: 1960/1980. The service is in excellent condition (no cracks, chips, or impacts) apart from a small defect on the large circular plate (see photo) and a small white stain on the plate with cherries (see photo) Carefully protected shipping! (No worries about delivery) A bit of history: The Sarreguemines pottery was founded in 1790 (Napoleon I was one of its best customers, notably ordering many vases to decorate his imperial palaces) In 1978, the "Luneville-St Clément-Badonvillers" group purchased the Sarreguemines factory, which was then forced by the new owner to permanently cease its production of art and decoration to focus solely on tile creation. The Sarreguemines factory closed its doors permanently in 2007, leaving behind a glorious past.
