Superb vintage Roche Bobois lounge set from the 1980s, entirely made of genuine buffalo leather in cognac colour, consisting of 3 matching pieces: 3-seater sofa (length 216 cm, depth 87 cm, seat height 46 cm, back height 85 cm), 2-seater sofa (length 148 cm, depth 87 cm, seat height 46 cm, back height 80 cm), large pouf/ottoman (70 cm X 70 cm, height 45 cm). A particularly decorative set, recognisable by its low and generous lines, wide cushions, sloping armrests, and significant upholstery work. The leather has a beautiful natural patina, with lovely shades ranging from caramel to deep cognac. The marks, colour variations, and signs of use bear witness to its age and give it all its character today. The craftsmanship is remarkable: thick leather, piping, topstitching, decorative panels covered in leather, and fully finished backs.
