Silver-plated metal seashell butter dish

Magnificent antique silver-plated butter dish. Use it to serve mustard, fish roe, vegetable chutney, and more! This hinged shell-shaped dish features a rare removable blue glass shell (note the small chip on the side). It also has a slot for a knife. Delightfully kitsch, it can also simply be placed on your table as a decorative container. Please note: it doesn't close completely, likely due to some play in the clasp.
