Antique majolica plate, Pavia, Italy, 18th century

Majolica plate with a lobed and moulded edge. In the centre of the plate, a group of crenellated buildings rises from an island of land with plants; the background is traversed by sails representing the sky. Along the border, I decorate with leafy branches extending out from the perimeter.
