Ingrid Atterberg vase for Uppsala-Ekeby in glazed chamotte stoneware. The series is called "Korta serien" or "Kort serie" and dates from 1956. The colors are yellow, black, and white in a geometric pattern with a celadon green base where the earthenware is visible in places, giving it a gray appearance. The vase is glazed white on the inside. Stamped and marked underneath, as shown in photo no. 7 - "Ingrid Atterberg UE 4/100", and "UE A11 Abg Sweden". In 1956, Upsala-Ekeby launched the "Kort serie" (short series), a limited-edition collection of numbered and signed workshop pieces by the three designers Hjördis Oldfors, Ingrid Atterberg, and Mari Simmulson. Ingrid Atterberg's short series consisted of plates and vases in nine designs and three decorations, for a total of 26 pieces. Each piece was numbered from 1 to 100, and in some cases from 1 to 50. The decorations featured abstract lines and fields of color reminiscent of the Dutch artist Piet Mondrian, painted on coarse grogged clay. Height - approximately 16 cm, and approximately 5.5 x 5.5 cm at the top. Weight - 506 grams. Condition - good used condition, as shown in the photos. Zoom in! Some manufacturing marks, as shown in photo #9. Some scratches or similar marks in the corner, as shown in photo #10. Please note: Colors may differ from the actual product due to lighting.
