Oak Saber Chest Circa 1600

Superb oak chest called a saber chest from the beginning of the 17th century in England. Very beautiful chest which was used at the time to store sabers. Typical base of saber chests which distinguishes them from usual chests. Chest which still has a Gothic influence with beautiful carving work on the front panel.
