A fantastic lounge chair designed by a. Dolleman, manufactured by metz & co in the netherlands around 1950. The chair has a very appealing, minimalist design. The thin black lacquered metal bases is nicely bent into shape. The seat and backrest is made of thick brown saddle leather, matching perfectly with the frame and creating an impressive style with a beautiful sense of luxury to the chair! An iconic minimalist mid-century dutch design.the chair remains in good condition with minor wear consistent with age and use preserving a beautiful cognac color and warm patina.
