Decorative wall mirror with lighting by M. Furgeri, Italy, 1960s

Furgeri wall mirror with lighting from the 1960s with an etched glass edge featuring Egyptian decoration. The concave glass and indirect lighting create a subtle and atmospheric effect. Suitable as a wall-mounted object with functional lighting. The mirror is a generally recognized design by the Italian designer M. Furgeri, who was known for mirrors with engraved glass and indirect light. Executed with an etched decorative edge at the front of the glass in a gold/copper-toned finish. The mythological engravings correspond to documented Furgeri examples from the 1960s. Fitted with 3 X E14 sockets. The condition of the mirror is good. There is patina visible along the edges consistent with age.
