This round mirror from the sixties shows how subtle design can be. The combination of warm teak veneer, a slender wooden frame, and soft indirect light creates a calm, almost architectural appearance on the wall. The base consists of a white lacquered metal wall plate to which four E14 fittings are attached. In the center is a screw bus that securely fastens the mirror to the wall plate. Around this construction, a curved plywood frame is placed, finished with warm teak veneer. Between the mirror glass and the wooden edge is space that, once the lamp is switched on, reveals a soft glow. The light subtly reflects against the wall, adding depth to the space. The original pull switch is located on the right side and is beautifully integrated into the design. The metal wall plate has mounting eyes on the back, making it easy to hang. In our workshop, we have carefully cleaned the mirror. The teak has been nourished so that the warm wood tones speak again. The metal wall plate has been treated with appropriate agents, and the technique has been checked. We have installed a cord so that you can use the mirror via a power outlet. If you want direct wall mounting, the cord can easily be removed. A characterful mirror that effortlessly combines functionality and atmosphere.
