Wall organiser “Uten.Silo I” – Dorothee Becker, Design M edition / Ingo Maurer (1968-1973) Iconic of 70s design, this wall organiser “Uten.Silo I” was designed in 1969 by Dorothee Becker and published by Design M (Ingo Maurer). It perfectly embodies the functional and pop aesthetic of its time, with its varied geometric shapes and intense red colour, making it highly decorative. Made from moulded ABS plastic, it consists of numerous compartments of different sizes for storing everyday items, office accessories, or small tools. Its modular and playful design makes it both a practical object and a true piece of wall design. This is an original example from the 70s (not a reissue), identifiable by the quality of its plastic and its integrated metal hooks. Condition: Good overall condition for its age, with a strong visual presence. Notable points: * a small break in one corner. * two fine discreet cracks (visible in the photos) * slight oxidation of the metal hooks. These marks are consistent with its age and do not affect its use or vintage character. An emblematic piece of 20th-century design, as functional as it is decorative.
