Decorative mirror dating from around 1920, featuring a wooden frame in red and black marbled tortoiseshell-effect finish. The mirror has an elegantly scalloped shape with moulded black edges and a faceted mirror pane. The striking finish is reminiscent of the historical use of tortoiseshell in luxury furniture and mirror frames from the 17th and 18th centuries.
