Beautiful shallow dish in Spanish faience, attributed to the ceramic tradition of Fajalauza in Granada, dating likely from the mid-20th century. Entirely hand-painted on a white glazed background, it features a rich stylised vegetal decoration in the characteristic Fajalauza palette: cobalt blue, green, and manganese brown, organised around a central motif evoking the pomegranate. The slight irregularities in the design, glaze, and firing testify to its artisanal crafting and give the piece its unique character. Dimensions: Ø 28 cm – H. 5 cm. The reverse, also glazed, retains an old system for displaying the dish as wall decoration. Very good overall condition considering its age, with some small traces and irregularities of use and manufacture visible in the photographs.
