A pair of sculptural minimalist bookends in an organic shape, affectionately referred to by Auböck as "ear lobes". Model number 3848. Handcrafted from solid brass with a patinated and polished finish, each piece reflects traditional craftsmanship. Designed by Carl Auböck in the 1950s, these bookends can be displayed upright or lying down. Fully stamped and marked. Dimensions: 10.16 X 5.08 X 12.7 cm. As handmade objects, each piece exhibits slight variations in shape and finish. Small surface marks are natural and are part of the unique character of the piece rather than defects.
