A very rare and beautifully crafted solid brass piano lamp dating from the 1950s-1960s. Made by the Joseph Brumberg company in Sundern, this lamp is made of brass with a heavy metal base covered in black shrink film. Its organic shape is remarkable. The shade is adjustable via a joint. Another adjustable joint is located on the base. The lamp is switched on and off using a push button on the base. In good condition, it displays a typical patina on the brass and traces of paint inside the shade (see photos). It can be used as a piano lamp or a table lamp. The wiring and the felt pad under the base have been completely replaced. Maximum height: 25 cm. Shade width: 24 cm. Base: 12 x 17 cm. E14 brass socket – compatible with incandescent, linear, or LED bulbs. An E14 to E12 adapter is included for use in the USA. Weight: 1900 g. Cable length: 200 cm. *The lamp has been tested and is in perfect working order.
