Large brass table lamp, Egon Hillebrand, 1930s

Large solid brass table lamp from the 1930s, signed Egon Hillebrand (Germany), in the Bauhaus style. This impressive lamp features all brass surfaces, a solid metal-core base, and a curved neck topped with a domed brass shade. The lamp is adjustable via two joints, one at the base and the other at the top of the shade. Its wide shade diffuses a bright yet pleasantly soft light. It is in good original condition, with a typical patina and a few small dark spots (see photos). The brand's logo is affixed to the base. The felt under the lamp has been replaced. The cable and switch may also have been replaced. The lamp has small dents on the top knob of the shade and on the back of the base (see details).
