Pair of large armchairs with crossbars, circa 1950, Canovas fabric embroidered by Lesage

Pair of armchairs in ash veneer, each formed by a structure with flat cut-out feet connected by a curved side crosspiece, opposing the convex line of the wide armrests; these two lines are joined by crosspieces of two different thicknesses. This wooden structure accommodates a seat-back block drawing another l-shaped curve, entirely upholstered in a plum-colored canovas fabric embroidered by lesage. Circa 1950. Small veneer graft on an armrest, a stain on the back of an armrest. The fabric very slightly sunned, with a trace of discoloration on a seat (see photo) dimensions and weight height: 81 cm - width: 76 cm - depth: 93 cm seat height: 38 cm weight: 25 kg each.
