Ole Gjerløv-Knudsen & Torben Lind for France & Son Coffee Table Rosewood

This elegant and spacious coffee table from the sixties is a beautiful example of Danish design where simplicity and craftsmanship come together. Designed by Ole Gjerløv-Knudsen and Torben Lind for France & Son, the piece exudes understated refinement that effortlessly fits both modern and more classic interiors. The warm rosewood gives the table a rich, natural appearance, while the clean lines and subtle details ensure a timeless balance. What stands out immediately is the light, open construction. The slender legs and refined joints give the table an almost floating character, without compromising strength. The tabletop has a beautiful, calm pattern and offers plenty of space without looking bulky. The thoughtful proportions make this table not only visually appealing but also particularly functional for daily use. This design perfectly illustrates what Scandinavian design is known for: functionality, durability, and aesthetics in perfect harmony. Whether you combine it with a minimalist interior or use it as a warm accent in an eclectic space, this coffee table always adds character and style. An authentic piece of design history that still feels surprisingly contemporary today.
