Magnificent and extremely rare floor lamp from 1972. Created by Pierre and André Bos, published by their publishing house Walter & Moretti, specifically launched to showcase their design pieces exclusively made from anodised aluminium, an emblematic material of the Space Age spirit of the time. Their production, ultra high-end, artisanal and confidential, was limited to just a few pieces of each creation, all of which have become iconic and highly sought after, especially since the takeover in 2014 by the brilliant architect and designer Olivier Oksman of this superb French house. The original pieces continue to be snatched up. The floor lamp presented here is entirely made of matte grey lacquered anodised aluminium and consists of a square base from which rise two interlocking posts (two curved monobloc blades), one of which pivots to conceal the five light sources inside the main shaft, allowing for adjustment of orientation and light intensity. Height of the shafts is 148 and 175 cm, width 18 cm, depth 8 cm, base 31x31 cm. The electrical cord with a floor switch has been replaced (the original, preserved, will of course be provided to maintain the value of the lamp). In perfect condition (only a few minimal signs of use on the base, see photo), a true sculpture, this superb floor lamp will make a difference in your interior, giving it chic and exclusivity. Not to be missed, you won't find another one!!!.
