Set of six wall compositions in hammered metal, copper, brass, and blackened steel, featuring beautiful red and orange patinas achieved through oxidation and brazing. Each piece adopts a unique organic shape, evoking the abstract and biomorphic explorations of the European brutalist movement of the 1960s–1970s. All pieces include a wall mounting system, while one has an original socket system, indicating that it was likely a sculptural lighting set created for an exceptional architectural or interior decor (private hotel, gallery, public building, or decorative commission). The surfaces are deeply textured, worked with a hammer and flame, using a technique similar to that of Belgian and French workshops of this period (similar to Daniel d’Haeseleer, Marc D’Haenens, Jean Meeus, etc.). One piece bears an incised pentagonal stamp "B + D", a little-documented workshop mark but of high-quality execution, indicating professional artistic blacksmithing. Approximate dimensions: 94 × 64 cm (sconce with socket), 81 × 49 cm, 43 × 35 cm, 39 × 50 cm, 37 × 21 cm, 47 × 34 cm. Overall arrangement dimension: 3.20 m long. Very good general condition, original patina preserved, small marks and wear consistent with age. Circa 1965–1975. Incised workshop stamp "B + D" in a pentagonal cartouche. Provenance: Private collection of an art enthusiast, South-West of France.
