Terracotta gargoyle

Emblematic object of the mediterranean regions, especially the south of france and especially spain (botijo in spanish), the gargoyle is a terracotta jug that was very useful to farmers. It was used to store water and especially to keep it cool for hours! On both sides of the cove allowing its transport, there is a filling neck and a narrow beak that pours the water into a thin net, which allows to "drink at the feast", that is to say without bringing the container to the mouth.
