A two-handled bowl, glazed polychrome earthenware in green and brown with geometric patterns and dots. Monogram Robert Picault under the base. Period: around 1960. Dimensions: 6 X 13 cm. Good condition. Ref adequantik 2607466. Robert Picault (1919-2000), French ceramist, designer, photographer, and filmmaker. He is one of the pioneers and a key figure in the revival of Vallauris ceramics from 1945 onwards. His photographic and cinematic work, stemming from his friendly collaboration with Pablo Picasso, has been the subject of exhibitions and publications in France and internationally.
