Ceramic bowl and saucer set by Robert Picault from Vallauris in the 1960s, featuring a zigzag pattern in green and brown, signed on the reverse. The monogram RP is the signature of the series pieces from the Poterie Picault: utilitarian shapes crafted by hand, in copper green and iron brown on a light background, from the workshop of one who, along with Roger Capron and Jean Derval, was a pioneer of the revival of Vallauris, awarded at the Milan Triennale in 1951. Dimensions: bowl Diam. 12 x H. 6 cm, saucer Diam. 11 cm. Condition: very good condition.
