Pair of Empire Period Dolphin Armchairs

Pair of solid mahogany dolphin armchairs. Empire period. 19th century work. Slightly curved backrests with capitals. Comfortable seat. Seat height: 40 cm. These magnificent armchairs are upholstered in a slightly embossed blue fabric decorated with diamonds stitched with white thread, intact. Needs cleaning. Resting on a saber base. The armrest consoles are finely carved with dolphin heads and the connecting stops are sculpted in the shape of fins. The connecting dice are decorated with stylized shells. Good overall condition.
