Antique solid wood slit milking bench

This small milking bench is old and bears its long years of service. We find it charged with the soul of a peasant house. Made of raw wood, it is one of those objects that cultivate simplicity while testifying to the know-how of popular craftsmanship. We like the worked shape of its legs, their inclusion in the seat, the slot that allows it to be easily moved. The wood has been coated with a dark varnish that cracks, which gives it that patina specific to authentic craft objects that have fulfilled their task well. It is quite robust.
