Old milking stool, old farm stool, primitive art.

Ancient and primitive milking stool / rustic wooden stool - handmade - 4 legs - nails and spikes - late 19th century - early 20th century. Good original condition for use: natural crack in the wood of the 4 legs, wood chips, insect holes, signs of impact, rust on the nails and spikes, small spots of old paint. (Please look closely at the photos). Dimensions approximately: height: 38 cm - width: 33 cm - length: 42 cm - weight: 3.870 kg. Washed, treated against insects, and polished with colourless wax, it retains its original primitive state. A unique and very rustic decoration with a charm of yesteryear. Used in farms in the French countryside for milking cows or goats, these stools are very rare to find (most have been burned over the years due to the mechanisation of milking).
