But upon closer inspection, one can distinguish a church and its steeple, streets, houses... It is signed J.J Pajeile on a label on the back and dated 1981. The style is reminiscent of Nicolas de Staël. Another label indicates that it comes from the Galerie Saint Louis in Saintes. Frame dimensions: 40 x 48 cm Canvas dimensions: 35 x 27 cm The painting is in very good condition. The wooden frame has some marks, and one corner has a small chip. See the photos.
