Superb confiturier (or decorative mustard pot) in shiny white porcelain, from the 19th century (Neo-Empire / Restoration style). This piece, with its timeless chic, is distinguished by its tripod base sculpted in lion's paws and its body adorned with three relief masks depicting neoclassical faces. The matching lid features a notch for the spoon as well as a moulded button handle. Manufacturer's numbering engraved in the paste under the base. Ideal as a centrepiece on a dining table, as a sugar bowl, jewellery box, or curiosity item in a classic, shabby chic, or contemporary decor. Material: White porcelain.
