Beautiful "black forest" style chair carved walnut with branches and roses and a base-padded plaid tapestry decoration on the seat and back. The seat is knocked down and opens onto a box. This box was originally a music box. Switzerland, circa 1860. Good condition. Old restoration: one of the roses is in brown patina platter.
